Chaos Paintball - Cap City Chaos 5 Man Series

Chaos Paintball Park, Inc will be hosting the Cap City Chaos Series in 2008. The series is a 5 man open class event, all divisions welcome. There will be a total of 5 events for teams to compete in. Teams do not need to be involved in the entire series to play, cash payouts will be awarded at each event for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Cash and Trophies will be awarded to teams that are participating in the series for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Note: Cash payouts are based on a minimum of 6 teams entered per event. The Cap City Chaos series is a “bring your own paint” event. Entry fees will be $300 per team for each event. Games will be played in a round robin format based on the number of team, and we will use modified PSP rule to judge the event.

The Cap City Chaos Series will follow the PSP Rules with just a few modifications listed below:

Violations / Penalties

Warnings for first violation (Swearing, Side line coaching)

Penalties:

1 for 1: (Playing On, Swearing after being warned, Side line coaching after being warned)
2 for 1: (Wiping)
3 for 1: (Game changing action)

Appeals:

Players may appeal a call at the end of the match to the head referee.
Players may appeal to ultimate referee after the head referee if it is a game changing penalty.

The above are examples of common penalties. The referees have the authority to interrupt, extend and apply the rules to situations not already covered by the rules.

Series Format

This will be round robin format based on amount of teams entered.
The finals will be the top four teams based on points. Play each team once, start from zero points.

Series Points:
Series Points will be a combination of your teams preliminary score and finals score.
Example: If you have a prefect preliminary score you will earn 1000 points. If you have a perfect final score you will have 300 points. This would give you 1300 points towards the series total.
